CULLMAN —
Robin and Janna Henderson of Holly Pond, Alabama are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Lauren Henderson, to Stephen Michael Speciale, the son Christopher and Mary Speciale of Franklin, Tennessee.
Courtney is the granddaughter of Noel and June Henderson of Holly Pond, Alabama and Tom and Brenda Kean of Cullman, Alabama. Courtney is a 2005 graduate of Holly Pond High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Athens State College in 2008 and Masters of Science in Elementary Education from University of West Alabama in 2010. Miss Henderson graduated Summa Cum Laude at both Athens State College and The University of West Alabama. She is currently pursuing her Education Specialist Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. Courtney is employed by the Cullman City School System as a Third Grade Teacher at East Elementary.
Stephen is the grandson of Ronald and Dolores Caron of Summerfield, Florida and the late Gabriel and Carmel Speciale of Bronx, New York. Stephen is a 2005 graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin, Tennessee. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). Stephen, also a Summa Cum Laude graduate, played baseball with the UAH Chargers from 2005 until 2008. Stephen is a Government Civilian employed as an auditor by the Department of Defense.
The wedding is planned for June 8, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Holly Pond with a reception to follow at the Cullman Civic Center.
