CULLMAN —
Mr. and Mrs. Danny Harris of Crane Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Diane Harris, to Brannon Buren Addis, son of Mr. Buren Addis and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Scott.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Hoyt and Athalene Moody and the late M.L. and Sudie Harris, all of Cullman.
Miss Harris is a 2003 graduate of Fairview High School. She is also a graduate of Auburn University where she received a bachelor of science in horticulture in 2006 and a master of sciecce in horticulture in 2008. She is employed by the University of Georgia Extension Service as a 4-H County Agent in Cumming, Georgia.
The prospective groom is the grandson of G.C. and Betty Jo Gibby and Esta and the late Herbert Addis. Mr. Addis is a 1999 graduate of Habersham High School, Mt. Airy, Georgia. He is owner and operator of Addis Stone in Clarkesville, Georgia.
The couple will be united in marriage on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Hills at White Oaks in Dahlonega, Georgia.
