CULLMAN —
Mitch and Charese Morris of Cullman announce the engagement of their daughter, Cydney Morris, to Blake Rowell, son of Matt and Tammy Rowell of Holly Pond.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Albion and Rhea Hudson of Cullman and Wayne and Geraldine Morris of Holly Pond. She is also the great-granddaughter of Polly Hooven of Cullman.
Miss Morris is a 2009 graduate of Holly Pond High School. She is currently pursuing a degree in elementary special education at Athens State University and expects to graduate in December. She is currently employed with CCCDD in the summer program.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Bob and Vina Rowell of Holly Pond and the late Kay Smith.
Mr. Rowell is a 2009 graduate of Holly Pond High School. He is also a 2011 graduate of Wallace State Community College, having received a degree in business administration. He is presently employed with Performance Refrigeration in Holly Pond.
The wedding is planned fro 5:30 p.m. Aug. 4, 2012, at Pleasant View Baptist Church.
