CULLMAN —
Dale and Cyndi Whitaker of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Jada Ty Whitaker, to Kaleb Anthony Jones, son of Anthony and Derinda Jones of Cullman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Billie Whitaker and the late Wayne Whitaker and Annice Landerman and the late John Landerman, all of Hartselle.
Jada is a 2008 graduate of Hartselle High School, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed with St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham as a labor and delivery nurse.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Betty Jones and the late Elwin Jones and Donald and Joyce Sapp, all of Cullman.
Kaleb is a 2006 graduate of West Point High School and a 2010 graduate of Athens State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in business management. He is the manager and distributor of Blue Spring Water, a division of AJ’s Ice and Spring Water of Cullman.
The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. April 6, 2013, at New Highland Baptist Church in Hartselle.
