Culpepper - Meigs engagement

CULLMAN — CULLMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Neal Culpepper are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Mae Culpepper, to Forrest Edward Meigs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Meigs of Alexander City.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hamrick and Mr. and Mrs. Horace Culpepper all of Cullman.

Miss Culpepper is a 2004 graduate of Cullman High School. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Social Science Education from Auburn University in 2007, and received her master's degree in collaborative special education in 2009 also from Auburn University. She is currently employed as a teacher with the Cullman County School System.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Georgia Gordon and the late Mr. James Gordon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Walls Meigs all from Alexander City.

Mr. Meigs is a 2004 graduate of Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City. He graduated from Auburn University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Building Science. He is currently employed by Gray Construction.

Vows will be exchanged November 19, 2011, at Stone Bridge Farm with Rev. Byron Vance officiating. A reception will follow at Stone Bridge Farm.
