CULLMAN —
Kerry and Merry Duke of Cullman are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Von Duke, to Pruett Allen, son of Jimmy and LaDonna Glenn of Cullman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James Duke and the late EIna Von Duke of Cullman, and the late Paul and Esther Quick of Hanceville.
Miss Duke is a 2007 graduate of Holly Pond High School. She attended Wallace State Community College and graduated from Athens State University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Ronald and LeaEllen Smith of Holly Pond.
Mr. Allen is a 2008 graduate from Holly Pond High School. He attended Wallace State Community College and graduated from Auburn University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in poultry science. He is currently employed as a poultry specialist with Aviagen.
Vows will be exchanged March 23, 2013, at Lake Guntersville State Park, with a reception to follow.
