CULLMAN —
Jenks and Vicky (Mewbourn) Hancock of Good Hope would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Hancock, to Trace Moody, son of Danny and Janet (Thornton) Moody of Good Hope.
Ms. Hancock is a 2008 graduate of Good Hope High School. She obtained her degree in early childhood development from Wallace State in 2011. She is currently employed at Kids Turf Daycare.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Edna (White) Mewbourn of Vinemont and the late Earnest and Ila Mae (Childers) Hancock of Brushy Pond.
Mr. Moody is a 2009 graduate of Good Hope High School. He obtained his associate’s degree in machine shop technology from Wallace State in 2012. He is currently employed at Alpha Machine and Fabrication in Bessemer.
The prospective groom is the grandson of William D. Thornton and the late Sharon (Parker) Thornton of Cullman, and the late Daniel L. Moody and Juliet (Lines) Moody of Cullman.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. October 20, 2012, at Good Hope Baptist Church in Good Hope.
