CULLMAN —
Mr. and Mrs. Scott Carpenter of Cullman announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Carpenter, to Jared Folks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Folks of Rock Springs, Wyoming.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carpenter of Cullman, Ms. Peggy Knop of Fairview and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Knop of Hanceville.
Miss Carpenter is a 2009 graduate of Vinemont High School and a 2011 graduate of Wallace State College. She is employed at First Baptist Church of Dallas where she serves as the Wedding and Event Coordinator.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Velma Romero and the late Mr. Ralph Romero, and Mrs. Virginia Folks and the late Mr. Ben Folks of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Mr. Folks is a 2005 graduate of Rock Springs High School, 2008 graduate of Western Wyoming Community College and a 2011 graduate of Dallas Baptist University. He is currently attending Dallas Theological Seminary pursuing a master's degree in theology. Mr. Folks is employed as a Pastoral Care Minister at First Baptist Church of Dallas.
The wedding will take place at five o'clock on July 7, 2012, at Faith Baptist Church, Vinemont.
