CULLMAN —
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Neal Walker of Baileyton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Denise Walker, to Jacob Aaron Gibbs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gibbs and Ms. Cindy Gibbs, all of Holly Pond.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Wanda Walker Clay and Donald Clay, the late CD. Walker, and Mr. and Mrs. Buck Rasco, all of Baileyton.
Miss Walker is a 2006 graduate of Fairview High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Auburn University in 2010. While attending Auburn she was a member of Phi Mu sorority. She is currently employed in the accounting department at Peoples Bank of Alabama.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Gibbs and Ms. Betty Nail, all of Holly Pond, and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Nail of Albertville.
Mr. Gibbs is a 2002 graduate of Holly Pond High School. He is currently employed with CSX Railroad.
Vows will be exchanged June 23, 2012 at Stone Bridge Farms in Cullman with a reception to follow.
