CULLMAN —
Tommy and Terri Waldrop and Katherine Hestla, all of Cullman, announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Nicohl Waldrop, to Eric Bradley Ponder, son of Mike and Cindy Ponder of Cullman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ruby Waldrop of Vinemont and the late Jimmy Waldrop, Bert and Berta McGriff of Cullman and Bobby and Johnnie Hestla of Cullman.
Ms. Waldrop is a 2004 graduate of Cullman High School, a 2007 graduate of Wallace State Community College where she received an associate of business administration degree, and is pursuing an associate in respiratory therapy degree at Wallace State College. She expects to graduate this May. She received an internship at Huntsville Hospital.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Esther Sparks and the late Billie E. Sparks of Cullman and Audrey Ponder the late Donald Ponder of Cullman.
Mr. Ponder is a 2000 graduate of Cullman High School, and a 2003 graduate of Wallace State Community College with an associate of science degree. He graduated from Alabama School of Real Estate in 2011 and is currently a realtor with ERA Waldrop Real Estate. He is also an ATI Firth Sterling programmer.
The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. March 10, 2012, at St. John’s Evangelical Protestant Church. Reception to follow at TP Country Club, formerly Terri Pines.
