CULLMAN —
Victoria Anne Drouet, DVM, and Owen Nerren Pratt announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of LTC and Mrs. Clifford J. Drouet of Cullman. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Russell Bellue and Ms. Marcella Petitjean Bellue of Baton Rouge, La., the late Robert Drouet and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ponish of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Ms. Drouet received an associate’s degree from Snead State Community College in poultry science and Spanish, graduating magna cum laude. She earned a bachelor’s degree in poultry science from Auburn University, graduating magna cum laude, and a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Auburn University. She is currently a veterinarian with Middle Valley Animal Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. She attends Grace Episcopal Church in Cullman.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Pratt Jr., of Signal Mountain, Tenn. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Owen Nerren of Isola, Miss., and the late Mr. Ed Pratt and Ms. Will Mary Pratt of Monteagle, Tenn.
Mr. Pratt received an associate’s degree from Wallace State Community College in liberal arts and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He is presently a production manager for Pratt HomeBuilders in Chattanooga, Tenn. He attends St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The wedding is planned fro Dec. 17, 2011, at Grace Episcopal Church in Cullman.
