CULLMAN — William E. Harris Jr. and Ann Harris of Louisville, Kentucky, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Ann Harris, to Benjamen Wayne White, son of Gary and Charlene White of Cullman.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Norma Harris and the late William E. Harris Sr. of Shively, Kentucky, and the late Delmar and Frances Goodin of Louisville, Kentucky.

Miss Harris is a 1996 graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School and a 2000 graduate of Murray State University where she received a bachelor's degree in elementary education. In 2006, she graduated from Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana, with a master's degree in elementary education. She is currently an Arts and Humanities Teacher at Dixie Elementary School in Valley Station, Kentucky, where she teaches art, music, drama and dance to students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ernest White and the late Florene White of Cullman, and Marie Hines and the late Henry Hines of Cullman.

Mr. White is a 1997 graduate of Good Hope High School and a 2011 graduate of Boyce College of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a bachelor's degree in biblical counseling. He is presently pursuing a master of theology degree in pastoral leadership from Campbellsville University. He is a minister and is also currently employed as a customer service manager for Walmart in St. Matthews, Kentucky.

The wedding will be at 1:30 p.m. July 21, 2012, at Valley View Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
