Quick - Byrom engagement


CULLMAN — Tonya Lenea Quick and Jerry and Brenda Quick of Cullman are pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter and their granddaughter, Kala Lenea Quick of Cullman, to Jeffrey Clay Byrom of Cullman, son of Jeff and Robin Byrom of Arab.

The bride-elect is the great-granddaughter of the late Henry and Ezzie Kramer and the late David Lellon Quick of Birmingham and the late Ruth Jones Quick of Cullman.

Ms. Quick is a graduate of Good Hope High School and Wallace State Community College, where she earned an associate’s degree in applied science in dental assisting. She then completed the Alabama Dental Hygiene program from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is employed as a registered dental hygienist for Dr. Michael Keller, DDS, in Homewood, Ala.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late James Aaron and Peggy Lang of Arab and Bobby Byrom and the late Gladys Byrom of Arab.

Mr. Byrom is a graduate of Holly Pond High School and Wallace State Community College, where he earned a double associate’s degree in computer science programming and computer science networking. He then graduated from Athens State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is employed in management at Target in Decatur, Ala.

The wedding is planned for 4:30 p.m. Sept. 22, 2012, at The Rotunda in Cullman.
