The bride, 29, joined American Express in April as a director of business planning and strategy. Previously, she was a policy advisor to the U.S. Treasury Deputy Secretary. She graduated from Stanford University with honors, and earned a J.D. and LL.M. from New York University School of Law where she was awarded the David Bradford Memorial Prize. The bride's father is CEO and President of EMT Labs in Mountain View, California.
The bridegroom, 33 is managing director of analytics at Evolent Health, a startup in Arlington, VA, which he joined earlier this year after leaving McKinsey and Company. He graduated summa cum laude with honors from Vanderbilt University and received an MBA from Duke University. His mother teaches math at Wallace State Community College and his father is a retired elementary school principal.
