CULLMAN —
Randy and Debbie Bates of Cullman are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Bates, to Erik Keese, son of Chris and Anjanette Keese of Dover, Tennessee, and Vicki and Randall Wynn of Cullman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jack and Helen Watts of Holly Pond, and Nettie Bates and the late W.C. "Buddy" Bates of Good hope.
Miss Bates is a 2009 graduate of Cullman High School and a 2011 graduate of Wallace where she received her degree in Business Administration. She is currently pursuing her Business Management double minoring in Human Resources and Marketing from Athens State University. She will expect to graduate December of 2013. She is currently employed at Merchants Bank of Alabama.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Victor Blackwood of Cullman, Freddie and Wanda Parchman, of Erin, Tennessee, Carol and Jim Norman, of Dover, Tennessee, and the late Stephen Keese.
Mr. Keese is a 2009 graduate of Cullman High School. He is a 2012 graduate of Wallace State Community College where he received his Computer Networking degree. He is currently employed at Rehau.
The wedding is planned for 4:30 p.m. October 6, 2012, at Sharon Grove Methodist Church.
