— Andrea Erin Ponder, daughter of Bryce Ponder of Cullman and Ann Ponder of Fairview, announces her engagement to Adam Henry Heaton, son of Susan and Michael Smith of Falkville and Ernest Heaton Jr. of Eva.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Ponder of Trimble and the late Betty Stephens.
Ms. Ponder is a 2000 graduate of Fairview High School and a 2003 graduate of Wallace State Community College, where she received an associate’s degree in applied science. She is currently employed as a manager with K-Mart in Cullman.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mae Childers of Eva and the late O.Q. Childers, Martha Smith of Fairview and the late Harlan Smith, Malcolm Pevahouse of Falkville and the late Iris Pevahouse.
Mr. Heaton is a 2001 graduate of Cullman High School. He attended Wallace State Community College. He is presently employed with Topre in Cullman.
The wedding is planned for 2:30 p.m. Dec. 28, 2007, in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
