Bartlett-Coleman

Max and Janet Bartlett of Vinemont announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Marie Bartlett, to Ryan Adam Coleman, son of Billy and Shireen Coleman ofVinemont

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Coyal and Ethel Moyer of Cullman and Louis and Hilda Bartlett of Vinemont.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Tom and Marie Alverson of Westover, Ala., and Virginia Coleman and the late Charles Coleman of Sylacauga, Ala.

Both Miss Bartlett and Mr. Coleman graduated from West Point High School in 2001. They both accepted tennis scholarships to Central Alabama Community College from 2001 to 2003. Following CACC they both attended Auburn University.

Miss Bartlett graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University in 2005 with a degree in elementary education. She continued her education and graduated with her master's degree in school counseling in 2007. While attending the university, Miss Bartlett was a majorette for the Auburn University Marching Band, serving as captain of the majorette line in her senior year. Miss Bartlett recently accepted an elementary teaching position at Lake Forrest Elementary School in Atlanta, Ga.

Mr. Coleman graduated from the Auburn School of Architecture May of 2008. While in this program he was selected to participate at Rural Studio in Greensboro, Ala., where he is currently completing his thesis. He will be employed at HKS Architecture in Atlanta, Ga.

The wedding is planned for July 19, 2008, at Seventh Street Baptist Church of Cullman.
