Gingrich-Griffin

Bob and Christina Gingrich of Vinemont announce the engagement of their daughter, Daisy Marie Gingrich, to Robert Young Griffin III, son of Bob and Cindy Griffin of Florence.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Walter Gingrich and the late Betty Gingrich, and the late Wilhelm and Dorothea Volkenand.

Ms. Gingrich is a graduate of the University of North Alabama with a bachelor of science degree in professional biology. She expects to graduate from the McWhorter School of Pharmacy with a bachelor of science degree in doctor of pharmacy.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Y. Griffin, Fred Smith and the late Jacqueline Smith.

Mr. Griffin is a graduate of the University of North Alabama. He expects to graduate from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry with a bachelor of science degree in doctor of dental medicine.

The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. March 15, 2008, in Florence.
