— Rodney and Clarissa White of Cullman announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Faith White, to Michael David Townson, son of Anthony and Wanda Townson of Cullman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marcell and Jewell Hancock and Buddy and Margie White, all of Hanceville.
Ms. White is a graduate of the Way Home Christian School. She is currently employed with White’s Construction in Cullman.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Elsa Powell of Birmingham and the late Rufus Powell, Gladys and Wilburn Sharpton and Charles Townson, all of Cullman.
Mr. Townson is a graduate of Cullman High School and the auto tech program at Vinemont Vocational School. He is presently employed with Conott’s Auto Service in Hanceville.
The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. Feb. 16, 2008, at Simcoe Worship Center.
