— Mr. and Mrs. Martin Andrew and Pamela Jackson, all of Vinemont, announce the engagement of their daughter, April Joy Jackson, to Shaun Edward Powell, son of Gary and Deborah Powell of Vinemont.
Ms. Jackson is a 1999 graduate of Vinemont High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. While at the university, she played on the women’s soccer team. She is currently employed as an office and marketing manager with M.A. Jackson Co.
Mr. Powell is a 1995 graduate of Vinemont High School. He attended the University of North Alabama. He is presently employed with the state of Alabama Lands Division with the Department of Conservation.
The wedding is planned for April 26, 2008, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Cullman.
