JSU announces president's, deans' lists for fall 2012

JACKSONVILLE — Jacksonville State University congratulates the following Cullman County students who were added to the President's and Deans' Lists for Fall 2012. To be named to the President's List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade point average, or all A's. Students earning all A's and B's are named to the Deans' List.

    During its Spring 2013 commencement exercises, Bethel University awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Liberal Arts to Christopher Cain of Vinemont.

    The Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2012-13 Leadership Cullman County class concluded their program May 16 with a dinner, reception and recognition program at the All Steak. Program Co-chairs Jenny Clark of Wells Fargo Bank and Buchanan Jackson of Cullman County Economic Development Office, both graduates of the Leadership Cullman County program, presented the participants with their graduation awards.

    St. Bernard Preparatory School celebrated the accomplishments of its graduating seniors in grand style at its 114th Commencement Exercised held on Sunday, May 26. With sounds from the Alabama Pipes and Drums Corps filling the air, a capacity crowd filled the Abbey Church as thirty-six seniors completed their high school course of studies and were offered college scholarships amounting to just under three million dollars.
