HANCEVILLE — Computers for seniors

This course is for the beginner and is designed to introduce you to the computer. Basic functions of Microsoft Windows will be covered along with adjusting personal computer settings. You will also be introduced to the Internet and email. The instructor is skilled at teaching those with little or no experience with computers.

Classes are May 21, 28 and June 4 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Class is limited to 12 students. Fee-$25. To register, call 256352-7826.

Facebook for seniors

In this cutting edge course for seniors, we'll learn to navigate the social community of Facebook. We will create a Facebook account, learn how to locate friends and family members, how to use the news feed and upload pictures. A good working knowledge of computers is required for this class.

Classes are from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 21, 28, July 16, 23 in the computer science lab. Class is limited to 8 students. Fee-$25. To register, call 256-352-7826.

Beginning golf for ladies

Golf Pro Ches Harris will instruct this course for beginners. Golf clubs, as well as everything needed, will be provided for use by the student during the course. Courses will be taught at Cullman Municipal Golf Course. Fee is $50.
