Carter chosen as US. Achievement Academy All-American Scholar

CULLMAN — The United States Achievement Academy announced today that Brandie Faith Carter from Vinemont has been named an All-American Scholar.

The USAA has established the All-American Scholar At-Large Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. The All-American Scholars must earn a 3.3 or higher grade point average.

Brandie, who attends West Point High School, was nominated for this honor by the U.S. Achievement Academy. Her name will appear in the All-American Scholar At-Large Yearbook, which is published nationally.

Brandie is the daughter of Rev. Malcolm and Tammy Carter of Vinemont. Her grandparents are Malcolm and Becky Carter of Cullman and Laneave Green of Midville, Georgia.
