Jaden recognized by United States Achievement Academy

TUSCALOOSA — The United States Achievement Academy announced recently that Jaden Blackwood of Addison has been recognized by the Academy as a student of excellence in physical education. This is a prestigious honor very few students can hope to attain. In fact, the Academy recognizes fewer than 10 percent of all American high school students.

The Academy also recognized Jaden as an All-American Scholar. The USAA has established the All-American Scholar At-Large Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students like Jaden who excel in the academic disciplines. These scholars must earn a 3.3 or higher grade-point average.

Jaden’s achievements will appear in the USAA’s Official Yearbook and the All-American Scholar At-Large Yearbook which are published nationally.

Jaden, who attends Addison Elementary, is the son of Rocky and Sheila Blackwood of Addison.
