Life in a Wheelchair
Some people say I’m “lucky” because I have it “easy,”
When they have it easy and are the lucky ones.
They don’t have to deal with the situations I put up with.
You don’t know what it’s like to get threatened
With a “speeding ticket” 99 times a day!
In football, people think I might smush someone with my chair,
But in basketball, I could never get a “Walking Penalty”!!
I have terrible luck with relationships . . . I’m just a sitting duck!
I know they really like me, ha! Ha!
Other than the flippin’ problems, I have a wonderful life.
Great family that love and support me and
Awesome friends that always have my back,
Friends and family don’t see me in a wheelchair,
They just see ME!
