His Last Drive
He got in the car
Knowing what he was doing,
And knowing what he was choosing.
He didn’t even care,
For at the beginning
It was all a dare.
He was just having fun,
He didn’t know he’d never again
See the morning’s sun.
But as he hit the truck
He thought, “What bad luck.”
Then he started to cry
Because he knew it was his turn to die,
And of course,
It was his last drive.
