FLORENCE —
The Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts announce the 27th annual Arts Alive juried fine arts and crafts festival in Florence, May 18-19, 2013. Deadline for entries is March 1, 2013. Artists may exhibit their work in the arts center gallery (work remains up until June 21, 2013), outdoors in Wilson Park for the festival weekend, or in both places. Arts Alive is a juried show awarding over $6,200. Categories are clay, fiber, glass, metal work, jewelry, painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media and photography.
Entry fee for the gallery exhibition is $30 (non refundable) — maximum of three pieces. Fee to enter and have a booth in Wilson Park is $100. If not accepted for park, fees minus a jury fee of $30 will be refunded.

Memorial Day celebration at Veterans Park

Scoring System
The overall score determines the reinspection schedule and the use of enforcement actions.
Scoring between 85 and 100 are considered to be in satisfactory compliance and are inspected on routine schedule.
Scoring between 70 and 84 require a follow up inspection within 60 days.
Scoring between 60 and 69 require follow up and reinspection within 48 hours.
Scoring below 60 are closed immediately. Scores may be accessed at www.adph.org.
