Desperation Church will host an Easter carnival at Heritage Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, with 2 egg drops: The first is for younguns through age six at 11 a.m.; the second is for 7-11 years old at noon. Free admission; concessions available.
Children should bring own egg collection baskets or bags.
A total of 50,000 eggs will be dropped by helicopter - the Easter Bunny’s ride to the park. Participants are asked to bring one hard-boiled egg per person in the family to help break two Guinness Book of World records.
Activities to include carnival rides, inflatables, popcorn, games, kiddie land for the itty-bitty kids, Easter Egg dying and more!
Also, Cullman Rotary will have a “Stop Polio Now!” kite flying contest, 12:30 to 2 p.m. — bring your own or build one there. Prizes will be awarded.
