Yellow Dot Signup Day

CULLMAN — Residents in the Vinemont area will soon be able to sign up for their Yellow Dot and Yellow Dot Package from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 6, at the Vinemont Scout House. This program, which is intended to assist citizens following a vehicle accident when occupants may not be able to communicate for themselves, includes a Yellow Dot sticker to place in the rear window of one’s motor vehicle, as well as a yellow folder with pertinent, critical and helpful information for law enforcement/rapid responders, which will be kept in the glove compartment of one’s vehicle. The sticker notifies the officials on site that potential life-saving information, as well as identifying information, is on hand following a vehicle wreck.

For more information, call the Northeast Alabama Traffic Safety Office at 256-549-8142 or visit their website at www.adeca.alabama.gov.
