CULLMAN — The Berlin Sunshine Club met at the community March 14, with 13 members and two guests present. Hostesses for the meeting were June Butts, Ruth Freeman and Madison Washburn. The tables were decorated with an Easter motif. After prayer requests, June Butts read a touching story as a devotional. Ann Bishop led the prayer.

In the absence of the president, Becky Smith, Gail Wood presided over the business meeting. Gail read the minutes of the last meeting and Joan Walker gave the financial report. These reports were approved as read. Corresponding Secretary Janice Hayes, read the names of the people she had mailed cards to this month. The quilt committee presented three quilts that were available for purchase. The members voted to purchase one of the quilts. This quilt will be given away at the bazaar in October.

Others attending were Jill Bishop-Hollis, Marilyn Bolte, Patty Martin, Becky Cook and Susie Smith. Guests were Eleanna Hollis and Ruth Teichmiller.
