All teams have a surgical specialty but include general medicine and pediatric patients.
All teams are 11 days (Thur-Sun) except VBS and the April eye team. The (*) next to Team number indicates opportunity for selected missionaries to stay with two back to back medical teams. Time frame is total of 25 days (17 week days) ie: Auburn School of Pharmacy students receiving credits for rotations with 2 teams. Candidates must be of use for their 2 specific teams. Other University programs desiring student placement may be considered. Longer stays will be considered.
All missionaries pay their own way (airline ticket plus $1,550). The trip is capped with two full days of Safari at Kenya's finest game parks. Meals, transport, background check, travel packet and evacuation insurance included (the bulk of the trip is tax deductible). Tips and drinks while on safari are at your expense.
