CULLMAN — These ratings are taken from the Alabama Department of Public Health Website at foodscores.state.al.us.    

Scoring System

The overall score determines the reinspection schedule and the use of enforcement actions:

Scoring between 85 and 100: Establishments are considered to be in satisfactory compliance and are inspected on routine schedule.

Scoring between 70 and 84: Establishments require a follow-up inspection within 60 days.

Scoring 60-69: Establishments require follow-up and reinspection within 48 hours.

Scoring below 60: Establishments are closed immediately. Scores may be accessed at www.adph.org.

    Dr. Bill Deutsch, professor emeritus at Auburn University and founder of Alabama Waterwatch, will be the guest speaker during Wallace State Community College’s Earth Day events on April 22, sponsored by the Green Team.     The Cullman Ballet Society has auditions for summer scholarships, with registration at noon Saturday, March 15, at the Cullman Ballet Theatre School.     Rebecca Carter of Vinemont was recently selected to participate in the 2014 Miss Teen Birmingham/Montgomery pageant competition that will take place Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014. Rebecca learned of her acceptance into this year's competition when the pageant announced their selections following interviewing in the local Birmingham/Montgomery area. Rebecca submitted an application and took part in an interview session that was conducted by this year's Birmingham/Montgomery Pageant Coordinator.
