Cullman Regional Medical Center’s Surgical Services symposium will be from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in CRMC’s Col. Cullmann Room in POB II. The educational opportunity provides contact hours.
The symposium features presentations from the following presenters:

CRMC is an Alabama Board of Nursing Approved Provider of Continuing Education – ABNP1042, expiration date June 22, 2015, and offers 6.2 contact hours for attendees that supply their license at registration. The seminar includes breakfast and lunch and costs $50 for non-hospital employees. Attire for the conference is casual. City vs. County blood drive
LifeSouth Community Blood Centers and the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive contest between the City of Cullman and Cullman County from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 14. Those making “city” donations may give at the Festhalle Market Platz and Cullman Shopping Center. “County” donations may be made at the Cullman County Courthouse and Walmart Supercenter.

The overall score determines the reinspection schedule and the use of enforcement actions:
Scoring between 85 and 100: Establishments are considered to be in satisfactory compliance and are inspected on routine schedule.
Scoring between 70 and 84: Establishments require a follow-up inspection within 60 days.
Scoring 60-69: Establishments require follow-up and reinspection within 48 hours.
Scoring below 60: Establishments are closed immediately. Scores may be accessed at www.adph.org.
