Grace Church's holiday cheeseballs/raffle tickets on sale now

CULLMAN — Grace Episcopal Church’s Women’s Missions will sell cheeseballs now through Oct. 3. Each is only $8, with all proceeds benefitting church projects.

Cheeseball flavors being offered this year:

Boursin: Flavors of the French countryside are a combined cream cheese, butter, red wine, parsley, garlic and Herbs du Provence - scintillating!

Chipped Beef: Hearty taste of beef in cream cheese with a mild taste of scallions - always a hit!

Chocolate Chip: Added to the cream cheese are rich butter and chocolate chips - great accompaniment to graham crackers, vanilla wafers or apple slices. This is perfect as an appetizer, snack or dessert offering.

English Cheddar: Our best seller of English cheddar covered in chopped pecans. Great on English water biscuits or any favorite cracker!

Henrietta: Chock full of white meat chicken and coated with sliced almonds...mmmm! Great as a low-carb addition to your veggie sticks for dippin’.

Lemon Scallion: Refreshing springtime combination of lemon zest and mild scallions. Goes with anything!

Mount of Olives: This festive cheeseball boasts flavors of hearty cheddar and chunks of pimiento-stuffed green olives. Delicious with any variety of savory crackers.

Ponderosa: Big western flavor that combines cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning and buttermilk. A most popular offering! Suggestion: Serve with rich crackers or toasted pieces of thick Italian bread.

Grace Episcopal will take orders at the church or by calling 256-734-6212 from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Wednesday or by email at gracecullman@aol.com.

Orders must be picked up by Dec. 23 or will be resold and money paid considered a donation.

Also, raffle tickets are being sold for two Iron Bowl Baskets - One Tide and One Tiger. Each basket includes three cheeseballs of one’s own choosing, plus team spirit gear - a $75 value. Tickets may be purchased for $1 each or $5/7 tickets in the parish hall or on pickup day. Drawing will be held at end of pickup day - ticket holders do not need to be present to win, winners will be notified.
