Due to low foot traffic, the U.S. Small Business Administration recovery center in Cullman is set to close on Thursday, June 16. The center is currently located at the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce office in downtown.
The SBA urges those affected by the severe storms, tornadoes, high winds and flooding that occurred from April 15 through May 31, 2011 to visit the centers before they close to obtain one-on-one assistance and information about the disaster assistance program. SBA has approved more than $4 million to Alabama businesses and will continue to provide assistance in the Centers that remain open.
The Cullman office is one of three SBA locations being shut down due to decreased activity, along with centers in Jefferson County and Tuscaloosa.
