Farm Talk, Parsons, Kansas

On Monday, Nov. 6, the Cullman County Extension Office will be hosting a “Dealing with Calving Season Emergencies” meeting with Auburn University Professor Dr. Soren Roding as our primary instructor with assistance from State Veterinarian Dr. Terry Slaten. This meeting will be at the North Alabama Agriplex, 1714 Tally Ho St. SW, Cullman.

Since the meeting will include a considerable amount of “hands on” instruction using a life like cow/calf model we have on short-term loan from Clemson University, there will be two sessions available with one beginning at 2 p.m. and the second one at 6 p.m.(attendance at each session is limited to the first 25 people that pre-register). A light supper will be offered between the sessions and there is a $10 registration fee to attend.

Contact Gerry Thompson at 256-508-2020 to reserve your spot at the time of your choice.
