Part of the band's fame

White: Played a role in Lynyrd Skynyrd's success

Deborah "Jo Jo" White wasn't officially enshrined into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame like some of former band mates were during a ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria in New York this past week.

That does not diminish the fact that Cullman County resident helped the band become one of the legends of Southern rock.

Hopefully, her contributions, as well as others with the band, will fully be recognized.

Uchigasaki is a member member of the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors and has served as a community leader in other areas.

We wish them well in their new positions and appreciative of their contributions in making Cullman a better place to live.

Charles Watson will succeed von Pelser as plant manager in Cullman.

Replacing Uchigasaki will be Hirosh Chiba, who will assume the position of president effective April 3. Chiba is being transferred to Topre America from his most recent position as president of Topre's Celco Plastics, which is located in Canada.

We wish them well in their new positions and are thankful for the commitment their companies have made to our community.
