Cullman business licenses to be pink for breast cancer awareness

To encourage breast cancer awareness, Cullman officials have decided to print every business license issued for 2013 on pink paper. The color has become synonymous with breast cancer research, and Mayor Max Townson said he and the city council believe the gesture is a positive way to start a dialog about cancer awareness.

“We want to do this to honor those we’ve lost and raise awareness,” he said.
