Western Kentucky has hired Petrino as its new football coach, said a person familiar with the decision. The person said the former Arkansas coach is expected to be introduced at a Monday afternoon, Dec. 10, 2012 news conference. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the school has not officially announced Petrino's hiring.
