The funeral for Paul Wadley Harrison, 90, of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, with Keith Swann officiating.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harrison passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

He was a veteran of the Navy and worked in the trucking industry as a truck driver. He was also a heavy equipment mechanic, a security guard, and a personal bodyguard for Glen Campbell.

He was born Jan. 5, 1923 in DeKalb County, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wadley Harrison and Beatrice Harrison; his wife, Frances Harrison; a brother, William Harrison; a sister, Nellie Ruth; brothers-in-law: George, Wally, Frank, Billy and Bob; and sisters-in-law: Eleanor, Joanne, and Bernice.

Survivors include his sons: Randall (Marcia) Harrison and Patrick Harrison; daughter, Pat (Timothy) Murphy; brother, Ray Harrison; sisters: Ellen, Hazel, Martha, Annie and Shelby; sister-in-law, Rosemary; grandchildren: Francyne and Karen; great-grandchildren: Daniel and Robert; his loving and caring companion, Elizabeth Howard.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
