Leverett - Duke engagement

CULLMAN — Eddy and Mary Jane Leverett of Cullman announce the engagement of their daughter, Jodi Ann Leverett, to Adam Gerard Duke, son of Larry and Mickey Duke of Cullman.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Era Mae Leverett and the late Harry Leverett and of the late Ralph and Mildred Aldridge, all of Cullman.

Jodi is a 2002 graduate of Good Hope High School, and a 2006 cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in history. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in education from the University of West Alabama. She is employed with the Cullman County Board of Education as a social science teacher.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Roby Garlen Jr. and the late Jo Ann Garlen and the late Freddie and Vera Duke, all of Cullman.

Adam is a 1998 graduate of West Point High School, and attended Bethel University. He is currently attending Grand Canyon University pursuing a business degree. He is employed as a technician with Target Pest Control in Cullman.

The wedding is planned for March 22, 2013, at St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church in Cullman.
