CULLMAN —
Conservation Education is the subject of the PowerPoint presentation by the Cullman County Soil and Water Conservation District at the National Association of Conservation Districts’ annual meeting recently.
After being selected the Alabama Conservation Education District of the year award in 2012 the Alabama Association of Conservation Districts asked the Cullman County SWCD to prepare a presentation for consideration by the national association for their annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
Cullman County SWCD Administrative Coordinator Deborah Widner said “We are honored to be selected to show conservation districts from around the country what we do in Alabama and Cullman County to further conservation education to our children and also the adults.”
The PowerPoint was made by the district’s Assistant Administrative Coordinator, Pat Smith. Smith also presented it as part of a breakout session in San Antonio.
