CULLMAN —
FCCLA members from all over the county met on March 5, 2013 for the annual Poultry Cookoff at the Cullman Area Career Center. The Cullman County Farmers Federation and Women's Committee sponsored the Poultry Casserole Division and the Cullman County Poultry and Egg Association sponsored the Whole Piece Division. Winners of the Poultry Casserole Division are Kristy Moore, Cold Springs, first place; Katie Veal, Cullman, second place; Savanna Terry, Vinemont, third place; Kaitlin Turner, CACC, fourth place; and Tallie Schaffer, West Point, fifth place.
The winners of the Poultry Whole Piece Division are Kristina Childers, Vinemont, first place; Kelly Hogeland, Cold Springs, second place; Jessica Ledford, Vinemont, third place; Payton Strawbridge, CACC, fourth place; and Tanner Quick, West Point, fifth place.
FCCLA sponsors/Family and Consumer Sciences teachers present were Pat Floyd, West Point; Karen Hill, CACC; Carin Rains, Cullman; Tammy Whittle, Vinemont; and Stephanie Blair, Cold Springs. Nathan Barck and Julie Barck from Cullman County Poultry and Egg Association, LaWayne Maze of Cullman County Farmers Federation and Judy Maze from Cullman County Farmers Federation Women's Committee were all present.
